CIRCUIT BREAKER PROCEDURES

< 1 > - Satin American guarantees that the following critical manufacturing procedures are performed on every circuit breaker that we classify as totally remanufactured.

< 2 > - All Circuit Breakers are painstakingly inspected mechanically and electrically for proper alignments and reliable operation tests to NEMA, ANSI and IEEE standards.








1.) Comphrehensive Inspection: Special features are recorded.
2.) Main sub-assemblies are dismantled. 3.) Sub-assemblies stripped to each small part. 4.) Each part is throughly evaluated.







5.) Un-usable or worn
parts are discarded.
6.) Replacement parts are obtained from stock.
7.) Breaker is completely re-assembled:from individual parts to sub-assembly, to final assembly.
8.) Critical gaps and tolerances are set & dashpots resealed.







9.) Rewire (New) to customer's specifications.
10.) Overload Coordination: Primary injection/curve matching.
11.) Electrical Test:
Electrical Operation/
High Potential.
12.) Crating: All items are carefully packed and crated.
