MEDIUM VOLTAGE INDOOR OIL CIRCUIT BREAKERS

In the 1920’s through the 1980’s, GENERAL ELECTRIC manufactured its lines of medium voltage indoor oil circuit breakers and associated switchgear. Satin International and Satin American stock the following models:

The above breakers were available in fixed and drawout configurations. The drawout configurations were of the vertical lift type. The oil circuit breakers were designed with turned balls at the top of the primary disconnect bushings. The switchgear was designed with spring-loaded clusters encased in porcelain cylinders.
The switchgear was available in indoor and outdoor non-walkin configurations.
The above breakers were offered in a number of models with amperage ranges from a low of 600 amps for some designs to 2000 amps for other designs.
