LOW VOLTAGE AIR CIRCUIT BREAKERS 208 - 600V
FEDERAL PACIFIC, FPE, FEDERAL PIONEER

In the early ‘50s, FEDERAL PACIFIC purchased the Roller Smith Company and distributed its circuit breakers.

After the Roller Smith purchase, Federal Pacific designed and manufactured its first line of low voltage circuit breakers and associated switchgear. The models produced were:      - DMB 25 with amperage ratings to 600 amps
   - DMB 50 with amperage ratings to 1600 amp
   - DMB 50 –IT with amperage ratings to 1600 amp
These breakers were controlled by oil filled dashpot overload trip devices.

Subsequent to the DMB breakers FEDERAL PACIFIC manufactured the:
   - FP 25 models with amperage ratings to 600 amps / 800 amps
   - FP 50 models with amperage ratings 800, 1600, and 2000 amp
   - FP75 model with amperage ratings for 3000 amp,
These breakers were controlled by complex mechanical internal trip device, based around a clock mechanism.

The above FPE breakers were also available with integral 3 phase fuses for increased interrupting capacity to 200,000amp. When the breakers were supplied with integral fuses, the designations were as follows:
   - FM25, FM50

In the 1970’s, FEDERAL PACIFIC followed its original designs with a series of breakers called the FPS series. This series was available:
First as a replication of the original FP design, but supplied with solid-state trips.
Secondly as a new design, developed in the 1980’s also with a solid state design
These new lines of breakers were designated
   - FPS 2 25, FPS 2 50
   - FPS 4 25, FPS 4 50

FEDERAL PIONEER developed its own line of low voltage air circuit breakers in Canada, along side of the FEDERAL PACIFIC lines

The original FEDERAL PIONEER series of circuit breakers was the H1 series.

All of the Low Voltage Circuit Breakers manufactured by FEDERAL PACIFIC have been obsoleted by the successive purchasing companies. The original Low Voltage Circuit Breakers manufactured by FEDERAL PIONEER have also been obsoleted

All of the original Circuit Breakers originally manufactured by FEDERAL PACIFIC and FEDERAL PIONEER are available directly from the Satin International and Satin American Corp.

Replacement Parts for the majority of all FEDERAL PACIFIC and FEDERAL PIONEER equipment are in stock and available from Satin International.

Along with Renewal Parts, Satin International maintains an extensive library of original Instruction Books, Sales Catalogs, Blue Print Documentation, and Replacement Parts Information for all Circuit Breakers manufactured FEDERAL PACIFIC
